Terms of Service

Welcome to Coast2Coast Buy & Sell ("Coast2Coast", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract.

2. The marketplace, not a party

Coast2Coast is a venue that lets users list, discover, message, and pay for items. We do not own, inspect, warrant, or take possession of items. Transactions are between the buyer and the seller. We are not a party to any sale.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the accuracy of information you provide. You must use your real identity for payments and payouts.

4. Listings and conduct

• You will not list items that are illegal, recalled, counterfeit, stolen, hazardous, or that infringe intellectual property.
• No firearms, ammunition, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, live animals, human remains, or regulated medical devices.
• No content that is sexual, violent, harassing, hateful, or that exploits minors. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material — we report to NCMEC and law enforcement.
• Listings must be accurate. Photos must be of the actual item.
• No off-platform payments or attempts to circumvent fees.

5. Fees and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By transacting on Coast2Coast you also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and the Stripe Services Agreement. We may charge platform fees disclosed at checkout. Payouts may be delayed pending verification.

6. Shipping, returns, and disputes

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders accurately and on time. Buyers and sellers should attempt to resolve disputes directly. Refund and chargeback decisions ultimately rest with Stripe and the issuing card networks. See our Refund Policy.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, or withhold payouts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or applicable law.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items, the truth of listings, or the ability of users to complete transactions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coast2Coast is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or items lost or damaged in transit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the fees we collected from you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Coast2Coast harmless from any claim arising out of your listings, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
